Before coming to The Augusta Ballet in 1992, Jackie studied extensively with Rhonda Rabbers of the Harkness Ballet and Audre Deckmann Mendel of the New York City Ballet. Jackie has been featured in The Augusta Ballet performances of "Peter and the Wolf," "Dracula," "Beauty and the Beast," "Grand Faux Pas," "Hearth of Embers," "A Dry Manhattan." and in "The Nutcracker." Jackie has performed in the title roles in "Carmen," "Three Musketeers," and "The Nutcracker." She teaches Creative Movement and Pre-Ballet at The Augusta Ballet School and is attending Augusta State University to earn her degree in Early Childhood Education. She is married to dancer Troy McKinney.
